The Island of Rhodes
Rhodes is the largest island in the Dodecanese. It is located at the southeast part of Greece of Aegean and Mediterranean sea. Its capital city is located at its northern tip. The island is famous for its Medieval Town which in 1988 it was designated as a World Heritage City. One of the 7 wonders of the world, Colossus, was here.
Offered for vacation, it combines the intense cosmopolitan life and the peacefulness, endless sandy beaches and a lot of archaeological areas. Its extent is 1.398 square kilometres, the length of its coasts reach the 220 km, while its residents exceed the 110.000, most from who are occupied with tourism. It has marvellous climate, excellent tourist infrastructure, and a great history.

A great number of choices are offered for those who would like to go for swimming, shopping, clubbing, fun, sightseeing or even little excursions. Beaches such as: Afandou & Kolymbia beach, where Lydia Maris hotel is close at, are designated with the blue flag every year.
Tsabika’s beach, one of the most beautiful on the island is at an only 4 km distance from our hotel. Kolymbia is considered to be a high quality tourist center where visitors can shop and fun. Rhodes town with its international shops and clubs is also a fine solution. Good weather and summer are synonymous to the island.
You have the selection of excursions with little boats to various beaches or even a daily trip to Symi or Chalki islands. And for those who feel lucky, they can also try Rhodes Casino!
